Beating the Heat

It is not often that Washington reaches 90 degrees, but when it does, it is time to run away. Our solution was to head to the Washington Peninsula and to Hurricane Ridge. Traveling along the coast turning left into a residential neighborhood, and then making we started making our accent. Not far from the town of Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge’s high elevation was enough to beat the high temps down below. Part of the Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge boast beautiful views and upclose interactions with wildlife. There are plenty of established trails to explore that show the natual beauty of this wonderful national park.
